Come eliminare l'account dall'app
Quali dati vengono eliminati
Eliminando l'account, vengono rimossi in modo permanente dai nostri server:
- il tuo profilo (nome, email, immagine profilo);
- le tue preferenze (entità preferite, eventi salvati, organizzatori seguiti);
- le tue notifiche (cronologia delle notifiche ricevute);
- i token push del tuo dispositivo (smetti di ricevere notifiche istantaneamente);
- le credenziali di accesso (email + password / Apple ID / Google);
- i dati che ti identificano nelle prenotazioni presso le attività: il nome mostrato all'attività, il telefono, la nota che hai scritto per l'attività, la nota interna dell'attività e il motivo di un'eventuale disdetta;
- l'eventuale stato di blocco delle prenotazioni disposto da un'attività nei tuoi confronti;
- i dati che ti identificano nelle iscrizioni agli eventi: nome e cognome, l'email e il telefono eventualmente richiesti dall'organizzatore, la nota che hai scritto e il motivo di un eventuale annullamento;
Cosa NON viene eliminato
- le schede pubbliche (attività, associazioni, chiese, teatro, uffici del Comune) di cui eri amministratore, restano nell'app ma senza alcun amministratore associato (puoi rivendicarle in futuro o segnalare una nuova candidatura admin);
- i contenuti pubblici che hai eventualmente pubblicato come amministratore di una scheda (post, eventi, foto delle attività): sono contenuti della scheda, non del tuo account personale, e restano disponibili;
- la traccia delle prenotazioni già concluse, rifiutate, annullate o scadute, ma senza più i dati che ti identificano: all'attività resta una riga con il servizio, la data, l'ora e lo stato, intestata a «Utente eliminato» e non più collegata a te né ad alcun account. Serve alla continuità dell'agenda dell'attività e viene eliminata automaticamente dopo 24 mesi (vedi Tempi di cancellazione qui sotto);
- la traccia delle iscrizioni agli eventi, allo stesso modo e senza più i dati che ti identificano: all'organizzatore resta una riga con il numero di persone, la data, l'ora, lo stato e l'eventuale ingresso registrato, intestata a «Utente eliminato». Serve al conteggio delle presenze e viene eliminata automaticamente 24 mesi dopo la conclusione dell'evento;
- il pass di Google Wallet, se avevi aggiunto un biglietto: è conservato da Google, che non consente di cancellarlo. Ne togliamo nome e cognome, codice QR, accompagnatori e ora dell'ingresso; se lo avevi salvato, resta nel tuo Wallet, senza questi dati, finché non lo rimuovi tu;
- il pass di Apple Wallet, se avevi aggiunto un biglietto: sta sul tuo dispositivo e resta nel Wallet finché non lo rimuovi tu. Per 30 giorni proviamo ad aggiornarlo per annullarlo e togliere nome e cognome, codice QR, accompagnatori e ora dell'ingresso; per farlo teniamo fino ad allora le registrazioni dei tuoi dispositivi (identificativo e token push), poi le cancelliamo. Su un dispositivo che in quel periodo non si collega, il pass può restare quello precedente;
Delete your account
Last updated September 30, 2026Step-by-step guide to permanently delete your InComune account and associated data.
How to delete your account from the app
The InComune app lets you delete your account directly from your phone at any time, without writing to anyone.
- Open the InComune app on your phone.
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner (the silhouette) to open your personal page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the "Il mio profilo" ("My profile") page.
- Tap "Elimina il mio account" ("Delete my account").
- Confirm twice (for safety). Deletion is immediate and final.
Warning: deletion cannot be undone. Once confirmed, you will not be able to recover the deleted data. If you want to use InComune again, you will need to register as a new user.
What data gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes from our servers:
- your profile (name, email, profile picture);
- your preferences (favorite entities, saved events, followed organizers);
- your notifications (history of received notifications);
- your device's push tokens (you stop receiving notifications instantly);
- your login credentials (email + password / Apple ID / Google);
- the data identifying you in bookings with businesses: the name shown to the business, phone number, the note you wrote for the business, the business's internal note, and any cancellation reason;
- any booking block set by a business against you;
- the data identifying you in event registrations: first and last name, the email and phone number requested by the organizer if any, the note you wrote, and any cancellation reason;
- requests to be notified when a spot frees up at a full event.
Any future appointments still pending or already confirmed are automatically cancelled at the same time, and the business receives notice of the cancellation.
In the same way, registrations for events that have not yet started are automatically cancelled, together with their tickets. If you had added a ticket to Google Wallet, we immediately start removing the first and last name, QR code, guests and time of entry from the pass and mark it as no longer valid: Google does not allow it to be deleted, so, if you had saved it, the pass stays in your Wallet, without this data, until you remove it yourself. If you had added a ticket to Apple Wallet, we try to update it on your devices to cancel it and remove the same data.
What is NOT deleted
For app functionality and community protection reasons, the following remain saved even after deletion:
- the public listings (businesses, associations, churches, theatre, municipal offices) you administered remain in the app but with no administrator associated (you can claim them again in the future or report a new admin candidacy);
- the public content you may have published as the administrator of a listing (posts, events, business photos): these are content of the listing, not of your personal account, and remain available;
- the record of bookings already completed, rejected, cancelled or expired, but with no more data identifying you: the business keeps a row with the service, date, time and status, labelled «Utente eliminato» (deleted user) and no longer linked to you or to any account. It serves the continuity of the business's schedule and is automatically deleted after 24 months (see Deletion timelines below);
- the record of event registrations, in the same way and with no more data identifying you: the organizer keeps a row with the number of people, date, time, status and any recorded entry, labelled «Utente eliminato» (deleted user). It serves the attendance count and is automatically deleted 24 months after the event's conclusion;
- the Google Wallet pass, if you had added a ticket: it is held by Google, which does not allow it to be deleted. We remove the first and last name, QR code, guests and time of entry; if you had saved it, it stays in your Wallet, without this data, until you remove it yourself;
- the Apple Wallet pass, if you had added a ticket: it stays on your device and in the Wallet until you remove it yourself. For 30 days we try to update it to cancel it and remove the first and last name, QR code, guests and time of entry; to do so we keep your devices' registrations (identifier and push token) until then, then delete them. A device that does not connect during that period may keep the previous version of the pass;
- aggregated, anonymous technical logs (usage statistics), not linkable to you.
Deletion timelines
Deletion of personal data from our servers is immediate as soon as you confirm the operation in the app. There is no grace period or reconsideration window.
Tickets in Google Wallet: an additional note. If you had added a ticket to Google Wallet, removal of your data from the pass starts at the same moment, but it happens on Google's servers and is not instantaneous: if Google does not respond we repeat it automatically until we verify it has occurred.
Tickets in Apple Wallet: a note. If you had added a ticket to Apple Wallet, the update that cancels the pass and removes your data starts at the same moment, but reaches the device only when it connects: for this reason we repeat the notice once a day for 30 days, then delete the device registrations. We cannot verify that the phone has downloaded the updated version.
Bookings: one note. If you used the booking feature, the data identifying you (name, phone, notes, cancellation reason) is removed immediately, along with everything else. What remains with the business is only the record of the appointment, stripped of identifying data and no longer linked to you: it serves the continuity of its schedule and is automatically deleted 24 months after the booking closes (appointment completed, or booking rejected, cancelled, or expired). Details are in the Privacy Policy, in the section on bookings and in the retention periods table. Event registrations follow the same rule, with the 24 months running from the event's conclusion.
System backups may contain temporary copies of the data for up to 30 days for technical reasons, after which they are automatically overwritten. During this period the data in backups is not accessible.
Usage statistics (PostHog) are pseudonymous: on account deletion the analytics identifier is removed and the remaining events stay only in anonymous form, no longer linkable to you. Error and crash reports (Sentry) are also pseudonymous and kept for at most the provider's default retention; to request earlier deletion write to info@incomune.app.
Can't delete your account from the app?
If for any reason you cannot access the app or complete the deletion (for example you don't remember your credentials or the app won't start), you can write to us directly. We will only ask for the email you used to register, to verify your identity.
